There will be a special presentation at the August 26, 2010 meeting of the Mahanoy Area Historical Society. John Lahutsky, co-author of the book "The Boy From Baby House 10" will be speaking about his experiences in the Russian orphanage system and his subsequent adoption by Mahanoy City native, Paula Lahutsky. John is an honor student at Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pa. and is active in the Boy Scouts. The presentation will be held at the Rhoades Downtown Center at 7 PM. A book signing will follow, and the public is welcome.
